Glasgow City Council is commencing the process to propose event day parking controls for the area around Ibrox Stadium during football games/major events. The first stage of this process is to hold a public engagement session. This will be a drop in session where members of the local community can drop in to look at the plans and Council officers will be on hand to answer questions and describe how the scheme would work. This session is being held at: Ibrox Library on Thursday 19 January 2016 between 2pm and 8pm. Below is a copy of the plans intended for use in this early consultation, an information pack on how the scheme works and answers to frequently asked questions A copy of the information is also available for viewing at www.glasgow.gov.uk/saferparking The target implementation date for these parking controls would be the end of July 2017.
